What you need to know before applying for a Cabin Crew or Flight Attendant Jobs in the Philippines

It doesn't matter how long you are applying because if you get the same results over and over without doing something about your weight or how you dress yourself or take care of your skin which means your not improving at all with your past mistakes.

Make sure you are physically fit before you apply the cabin crew job.

Scars can easily be hide so no need to worry too much about that.

If you need to improve your communication skills try to practice at home because the interviewers are looking most likely on how confident you are.

And if your height is below 5'3" for the ladies or below 5'7" for boys when you apply at Cebu Pacific and Airasia or below 5'6" for boys when you apply at PAL and PAL Express even if you pass the screening interview at Philippine Airlines or PAL Express... Once they check your height and weight and you did not meet their requirements still you won't proceed to the next round.

I'm not discouraging the ladies who are 5'2" and below and for the gentlemen who are 5'5" and below because I have spoke to the Cabin Crew Management of Philippine Airlines when I got invited to become a guest passenger at the Wet Run Cabin Crew Training they are very stict with the height and weight because that is their policy.

So if you are applying here in the Philippines expect that all Airlines are strict with their Rules.

But if you plan to save money and apply for Cabin Crew in the Western Countries like in the USA they are not strict with the weight policy because they have no discrimination with the Physical Appearance of the applicants and 60 years old without experience are welcome to apply also.

They have accepted applicants who are above 60 years old if you are residing in their country.

But if your applying here in the Philippines or in other Asian Countries expect that they will be strict with Physical Screening Interview.

You cannot complain if you cannot follow the Airline's Policy.

A lot of applicants who applied at Cebu Pacific and Airasia turn down applicants who are 5'2" and below for the ladies and 5'6" and below for the gentlemen.

Always make sure that your height has reached to their requirements before you apply.

So for those who are saying there are some applicants who got in that are 5'2" in height it depends to the recruiter. We cannot compare our lives to others. If others got pass through or in Tagalog - "naka lusot" it doesn't mean it will also happened to us.

If you are below the minimum height required try to look for other airlines that would fit your height or maybe start first as a ground attendant.

In a 100% only less than 5% gets that chance because there are a lot of applicants here in the Philippines.

The airlines only need few Cabin Crews and there are a lot of competitors you could encounter while applying. So expect that its gonna be a tough Challenge for all of us.

While preparing for this you can try other jobs in the meantime.

Don't get depressed if you didn't get the job that you wanted or your long time dream. It's not the end of the World.

It only means God is leading you to something better than your dreams.
