Updated Cabin Crew or Flight Attendant Requirements and Qualifications in the Philippines

🌍 After few years the Requirements and Qualifications changes in the Airline Industries for Philippines Cabin Crew or Flight Attendant positions.

🔹 Before at Philippine Airlines they usually accept minimum 5'2" for FEMALES but now they accept 5'3" and above.

I'm not sure if there is a maximum height or height limit both Male and Female applicants.

🔸 Before at Philippine Airlines they usually accept applicants who are SINGLE only but now they accept MARRIED applicants or who are parents already.

🔹 Before at Philippine Airlines they usually accept until age of 27 years old but now - THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT! ABOVE 30 YEARS OLD CAN APPLY!

🔸 Before Philippine Airlines accepts 2 years College level of ANY COURSE but now they increased the standard to a Bachelor's Degree Holder or must be 4 Years College Graduate of ANY COURSE!

🔹 Before Cebu Pacific and Airasia accepts 2 years College level of any course but now they are accepting SHS / HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES!

🔸 Before Airasia accepts minimum of 5'2" for FEMALES but now they are accepting minimum of 5'3" (160cm)

🔹 Before Cebu Pacific has age limit of 25 years old but now - THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT! ABOVE 30 YEARS OLD CAN APPLY!

🔸 Before Airasia has age limit of 28 years old but now - THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT! ABOVE 30 YEARS OLD CAN APPLY!

🔹 Airasia and Cebu Pacific now accepts MARRIED applicants or parents already just like PAL and PALEX.

Just to remind those who do not know tge difference of Philippine Airlines and PAL Express.

Philippine Airlines / PAL is a different Airline company to PALEX.

They have the same uniform, same Requirements and Qualifications because they are sister company.
PAL flies mostly International Flights while PALEX mostly flies Domestic Flights.

So to those aspirants who are 5'2" / 157cm in Height just wait in the future. 

Requirements & Qualifications CHANGES AFTER FEW YEARS.

Who knows they might bring back the 5'2" Height Requirement but as of now their minimum Height for Females is 5'3"

✈ A lot of Filipino ASPIRANTS were asking these questions...
➡ Is it worth it to spend money for seminars or workshops or to enroll to a Flight Attendant School?

ANSWER:
Yes! It's okay because you can learn a lot from what its like in a cabin crew training HOWEVER, there is no special treatment when you apply to this job. No backer at all.

What I mean to say in Tagalog or Filipino language "SARILING SIKAP PAG NAG APPLY KA" Hindi porket maraming tayo nakuhaan na seminars and trainings doesn't mean agad agad magiging Flight Attendant na.

Hindi po lahat ng tao nag enroll ng FA School nakakapasa agad sa job interview for Cabin Crew.

Ang magagawa lang pag nakatapos tayo sa isang FA Schools is recommendations. They will pass your CV's or Resumes in most Airlines but in the end you will fight this battle alone just like regular applicants na hindi kumuha ng FA School or Seminars.

I'M NOT AGAINST ALL FA SCHOOLS.
I JUST WANT TO BE HONEST TO ALL ASPIRANTS AND GIVE AN ADVICE.

I actually recommend to everyone to take a Flight Attendant School para sa may kaya or may pera kasi marami talaga kayo matutunan.

OPTIONAL LANG PO ANG FA SCHOOL BUT IT IS NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR YOU TO BECOME A CABIN CREW.

✔ The only requirement that Airlines have is at least a High School Graduate at Cebu Pacific, Airasia, and other Middle East International Airlines while for Philippine Airlines and PAL Express you need to be a 4 years College Graduate of any course. Yun lang...

❌ Wala po nilalagay sa requirements ng Airlines that you need to take FA School or Tourism course. 🙅
➡ Is Tourism a Flight Attendant Course?
ANSWER:
❌ NO ❌ Wala pong Flight Attendant Course!

🤔 What Do You Need to Know To PASS A Cabin Crew Job?
👉 Cabin Crew Interviewers won't look how many seminars or FA trainings or what courses you will take in College.
As long as you are a Bachelor's Degree Holder or 4 years College Graduate yun lang po talaga.
Ang pinakaka tinitignan nila is
✔ FIRST IMPRESSION
✔ BODY LANGUAGE
✔ COMMUNICATION SKILLS
✔ PERSONALITY / ATTITUDE
✔ YOUR SMILE

Maraming graduate ng nursing, engineers at iba pang courses na flight attendants ngayon.

Maaring close yung Tourism course sa Aviation pero hindi courses tinitignan ng mga interviewers as the matter of fact they don't look on your resume on how many FA seminars or trainings you attended it won't really matter to them.

NO EXPERIENCE NEEEDED TO APPLY FOR FLIGHT ATTENDANT JOB!

Basta nasayo ang tamang height, College Grad ka (required for Philippine Airlines or PAL Express) or High School Graduate ka (required in Cebu Pacific, Airasia and other international Airlines), pinakita mo na sumusunod ka sa standards nila by being physically fit, marunong ka manamit tamang tama yung sukat ng business attire mo hindi masikip o hindi maluwag tignan, tama lang makeup ng mga babae at ayos ng mga buhok neat tignan at marunong ka makipag usap parang isang cabin crew.... i swear makakapasok ka.

Wag niyo problemahin ang education kung anong course kukunin, kung makakatulong sa confidence mo at may pera ka sige kuha lang ng Flight Attendant School

- OPTIONAL LANG YON HINDI TALAGA REQUIREMENT PARA MAGING CABIN CREW KA KASI NUNG 1950'S, 1960'S, 1970'S, 1980'S, 1990'S AND EARLY 2000'S WALA PANG FLIGHT ATTENDANT SCHOOLS NGAYON LANG NAUSO YON PARA MARANASAN NG MGA ASPIRANTS WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE IN THAT DREAM JOB.

Hindi lahat ng naging Cabin Crew kumuha ng FA School at kumuha ng Tourism.

WAG NIYO RIN PROBLEMAHIN ANG MAGING MAKINIS AT MAGING MAGANDA. MADALI NANG AYUSIN YON.
UNAHIN NIYO AYUSIN YUNG MAGING CONFIDENT AT COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

YOU DONT NEED TO BE FLUENT OR EXCELENT IN ENGLISH. AS LONG AS YOU KNOW BASIC ENGLISH ITS FINE!

The difference of PAL and PALEX:
Philippine Airlines have more international flights while PAL Express have more domestic flights.

If you become a cabin crew at PAL Express once you stayed for 2 years at PALEX, they will absorb you. Only 4 years College graduates will have the privilege to be transferred to main PAL according to the cabin crew I have spoke with. So its much better to finish your studies even if PALEX gives exceptional to undergraduates.

In Philippine Airlines they are VERY STRICT! MUST BE 4 YEARS COLLEGE GRADUATE OF ANY COURSE.
