The difference of PAL and PALEX:

Philippine Airlines have more international flights while PAL Express have more domestic flights.

If you become a cabin crew at PAL Express once you stayed for 2 years at PALEX, they will absorb you. Only 4 years College graduates will have the privilege to be transferred to main PAL according to the cabin crew I have spoke with. So its much better to finish your studies even if PALEX gives exceptional to undergraduates.

🎈For SCARS/BIRTHMARKS - You just have to conceal it to hide because there's no other way aside from conceal.

🎈For TATTOOS - It should not be visible to the uniform. Its not allowed if you have tattoos in hands/arms/legs/neck but if its in the stomach/tummy or if its in the part where no one can see as long is it can be hidden when you wear a shirt then its probably okay.

🎈For MOLES - As long as its not big or many that is on your face then its fine. For ladies you may conceal it with makeup while for boys makeup is not allowed.

🎈For PIMPLES/ACNE - The only way to avoid pimples/acne is to sleep early or at least 8 hours a day. Always take care your skin by washing your face daily 2/3 times a day. Don't wear too much makeup everyday if its not necessary. Drink lots of water everyday and you can use ice to freshen up your face. Avoid eating oily foods.

🎈For BRACES - Its not allowed when your applying for cabin crew. But in other jobs that is not FA then its okay to apply wearing braces except for cabin crew. (In Airasia Berhad Open Day in Makati they were announcing before going inside the Makati Shangri-la Hotel that braces are not allowed. If your wearing braces it depends if they will give consideration or not but they will require you to still remove it).

🎈For DENTURES/FALSE TEETH - As long as it looks alright and complete then there's nothing to worry about. If there is a missing tooth inside then when you smile the missing tooth is not seen then its fine too. Make sure that the dentures are won't fall and you need to visit your dentist regarding with teeth problems on how to fix it. You don't need to make your teeth super white but not too much yellowish just brush your teeth 3 times a day to be more clean and fresh.

🎈For CROOKED TEETH - You need to wear braces first for about 1 to 2 years to make it straight. Because braces are not allowed when you apply for cabin crew. You need to wait and apply for other jobs in the meantime while trying to fix your crooked teeth.

🎈For CLEAR VISION - You will be able to know once your already having a medical if they will allow it or not.

🎈For CONTACT LENSES/EYE GLASSES - It depends if it will be allowed because I saw cabin crews wearing eye glasses. Then for contact lenses it should be clear. Colored contact lense are not allowed.

🎈For FALSE EYE LASHES - It is not allowed because your applying for a job not going to a party. Just use mascara make it simple.

🎈For SCOLIOSIS - It depends you will be able to know once your already having a medical if they will allow it or not. But if its it looks really bad then there might be chances that it won't be allowed anymore.

🎈For WEIGHT PROPORTIONED TO HEIGHT -

You can measure your height at home and your weight then try to see the height and weight chart online. Do a research and see the results. Always make sure to maintain the balance of weight to your height. Discipline yourself not to eat too much to avoid getting fat/being over weight.

🎈For HEIGHT - Only Cebu Pacific Air, Philippine Airlines (PAL Express), AirAsia Philippines (every open days only/through online application for male and female) and Oman Air (accepts walk in for females only and must be single at STBDJL and Meja Agencies) are the only airlines in the Philippines that has height requirements however in Saudia Airlines DOESN'T HAVE HEIGHT REQUIREMENT AS LONG AS YOU CAN REACH 212CM FOR LEFT AND RIGHT ARM.

📝 TAKE NOTE:

Saudia and Oman are FREEZE HIRING THIS YEAR 2019!

🎈For COLORED HAIR - It must be dark/black for most airlines but for Airasia its okay to have blonde hair and its alright to have hair down however to most airlines your hair must be tied up to see your face clearly. For short hair just clip your bangs.

🎈For AGE REQUIREMENTS - There are specific airlines that has maximum age like Oman Air age 21 to 31 only. New policies in Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines, PAL Express and Airasia HAS NO AGE LIMIT ANYMORE. Other Airlines accepts above 30 years old like Airasia, Saudi Aramco.

🎈For MARRIED APPLICANTS - Only in Oman Airlines its not allowed married applicants must be single. But for Cebu Pacific, Airasia and PAL Express they accept married applicants with kids.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A GOOD SWIMMER TO BECOME A FLIGHT ATTENDANT 🏊

A lot of aspirants are wondering and asking if they need to be a professional swimmer before they become a flight attendant... ofcourse not!

There are so many cabin crews right now who are not good in swimming even scared to dive in a deep water but they are flight attendants now.

I have spoke to some of the cabin crews and asked which airlines will require to remove lifevest during the training and which airlines will require you not to remove the lifevest and use it until the cabin crew training ends.

Here in the Philippines the airlines that will require to SWIM WITHOUT A LIFEVEST and there are times you will be required to use a lifevest at 6 to 8 feet swimming pool:

To those who don't know how to swim I strongly suggest for you to take first swimming lessons to learn how to swim like Freestyle, Breast strokes, Back strokes, and Elementary.

🎈For HIGHSCHOOL GRAD - Most international airlines accepts Highschool graduates also Airasia and Cebu Pacific while for Philippine Airlines and PAL Express must be 4 years in College.

🎈For DIFFERENT COURSE - Yes they do accept even if you are in Fashion/Engineering/Architecture/Doctor/Psychology/IT and etc.

🎈For FLIGHT ATTENDANT SCHOOL - Its just optional if you want to take it or not. There are many cabin crews now that did not enroll to FA schools without any background in aviation/without any experience. You will get to experience a cabin crew training once you passed the interviews and medical exam. The actual FA training (not FA school) takes 2-3 months but it depends because in Saudi Aramco and Saudigulf domestic Middle East Airlines it only takes 25 days to be trained in Barhain (all expenses paid). Only if you passed the interview and you are one of the lucky shortlisted candidates who can proceed to the next step.

🎈WHAT IS A TOEIC - It is only recommended for those who don't have English subjects in College. But if you do have English in your Transcript Of Record then you don't need to take TOEIC. (It is required in Vietjet and Airasia Berhad)

🎈THERE IS NO SPECIAL COURSE FOR FA - Just do a research online and you will know everyting about cabin crew.

Once you are in the REAL Cabin Crew Training

"YOU DON'T NEED TO PAY THE TRAINING ITS FREE!"

ITS NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR YOU TO TAKE THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT SCHOOL BUT IT CAN HELP YOU EXPERIENCE ALL THE DRILLS OF WHAT ITS LIKE DURING THE TRAINING OF CABIN CREW. (Optional only if you want to enroll and pay the FA school)

❌ 3 Reasons You Don’t Need To Go To A Flight Attendant School ✈

🔹 QUESTION: Will a flight attendant school help you get the job? If so, which training schools are the best?

🔸 Honest answer: You don’t need any flight attendant training before you apply for the job. You’re better off spending your money elsewhere.

The vast majority of cabin crew members flying today have never enrolled at a flight attendant school.

Not a single recruiter ever asked for a flight attendant training certificate.

The single biggest hurdle of getting the job is the interview!

That said, many hopefuls are sucked into the idea that a flight attendant school will give them better chances at the interview. That’s not necessarily true.

These schools actually could do more harm than good by creating a sense false hope for their students.

However, if you’re from countries in Southern Europe like Spain or Italy, you’ll have to get a cabin crew license before you can even apply to be a cabin crew in those countries. It sounds crazy I know, especially when getting the license doesn’t even guarantee you the job.

Then again if you are from those countries and wish to work for airlines in the Middle East, you definitely don’t need any license or any cabin crew training certificate for that matter.

Why You Don’t Need A Flight Attendant School

⭐ 1 It Won’t Give You An Advantage ⭐

You may receive a certificate after completing the course but that won’t give your the upper hand whatsoever on the day of your interview.

The recruiter won’t see it as an advantage. What really matters is your personality; your ability to connect with the other applicants and, more importantly, with the interviewer.

⭐ 2 The Airline Will Train You ⭐

Once you’re selected, the airline will put you through an intense training which ranges from 7 weeks to 3 months depending on the airline.

You’ll be trained how to do all your duties and responsibilities based on what they expect from their cabin crew. They’ll imprint upon you their standard operating procedures as well as their work culture.

So, all the training you may have received from an outside school could be just a waste of time – and money.

⭐ 3 Expensive and Lengthy ⭐

Given that they don’t guarantee a job and that airlines will eventually give you all the service skills you need, why do these schools offer expensive and lengthy courses?

I know of a flight attendant training school in Malaysia which costs a little under USD1,000 for a course that takes 3 months. Another one in Tunisia takes close to 2 years!

That’s a risky investment of time and money with no assurance of a good return.

Spend your time and money on finding the best ways to present yourself on the day of the interview. Invest on building your confidence and improving your interpersonal skills.

BUT JUST TO REMIND ALL OF YOU IT TAKES 2-3 MONTHS FOR YOU TO PASS EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU WILL BECOME A FLIGHT ATTENDANT.

EVERY OTHER DAYS THEY HAVE EXAMS AND LECTURES WITH THICK BOOKS YOU NEED TO MEMORIZE, READ AND UNDERSTAND. SOME FAILED THE TRAINING. SO ITS NOT REALLY EASY BEFORE YOU BECOME A FLIGHT ATTENDANT.

YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO HAVE 2 FAILURES DURING THE 2-3 MONTHS TRAINING. AND IF YOU FAILED ON THE 3RD TIME YOUR OUT OF THE TRAINING.

THINK ABOUT IT MANY TIMES IF THIS JOB IS FOR YOU.

I noticed a lot of youngsters and freshers wants this job only because this job travels for free but they don't know the roles of a flight attendant. The young ones now a days don't bother to read, always asks common questions, lack of understanding, don't know how to research and they are only amazed sharing cabin crew photos shared by other pages with captions NEVER GIVE UP, BELIEVE, FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS... But being a Cabin Crew is not all about that...

It takes A LOT OF HARDWORK, PATIENCE & DETERMINATION WITH ALL YOUR MIND, HEART AND SOUL FOR YOU TO ACHIEVE THIS DREAM!

YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT THIS JOB FIRST!

It's NOT ALL GLAMOUR!

It's NOT ALL TRAVEL!

It's NOT ALL ABOUT SERVICE!

It's more on focusing the SAFETY and SECURITY OF THE PASSENGERS...

And if your not ready accept all of these CHALLENGES... This job is not for you!

There are a lot of ways for you to Travel NOT JUST TO BECOME A CABIN CREW. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT!

IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD IF YOU CANNOT ACHIEVE THIS DREAM.
