7 Benefits to being a Flight Attendant ✈

⭐ Cabin Crew Salary/Compensation ⭐

๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ In the Philippines, a Flight Attendant’s entry level salary ranges from P18,000 - P26,000 per month and may even go up to P36,000 to P54,000 per month for those highly-trained and experienced. Overseas such as in the U.S. & Canada, the average annual salary for a flight attendant is $43,350 or $3,612 per month.

I've watched a Cabin Crew vlog on youtube and he was sharing the salary about a blue airline which is PAL. Then the blue X airline is PALEX. The yellow airline is Cebu Pacific and red airline is Airasia.

✈ In Philippine Airlines they earn 50K to 80K a month while in PAL Express they start 30K and above in salary a month.

✈ In Cebu Pacific they earn 30K - 50K plus a month.

✈ In Airasia they started 40K - 60K

If you are a senior cabin crew or purser or flying for more than 5 to 10 years then the salary is much higher.

๐ŸŽ“ Basic Educational Requirement
A high school diploma or its equivalent is the minimum educational requirement. However, airlines increasingly prefer applicants with a college degree. Applicants who attend schools or colleges that offer flight attendant that offer flight attendant training may have an advantage over other applicants. Highly desirable areas of concentration include people-oriented disciplines, such as communications, psychology, nursing, travel and tourism, hospitality, and education. Flight attendants for international airlines generally must speak a foreign language fluently. For their international flights, some of the major airlines prefer candidates who can speak two major foreign languages, and/or with a degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting.

๐Ÿ“ Cebu Pacific Air and Airasia accepts SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES!

๐Ÿ“ Philippine Airlines and PAL Express must be a BACHELOR'S DEGREE HOLDER OF ANY COURSE!

๐Ÿ’ธ Cost of Education *
There is no specific educational requirement to be a Flight Attendant. However, employers often prefer applicants with a bachelors degree . A four year course would normally range from P30,000 - P55,000 per semester in private universities and about P3,500 to P10,000 in public institutions.

๐Ÿ—ƒ Employment Opportunities
Despite growing demand for Flight Attendants, competition is expected to be keen because this job usually attracts more applicants than there are jobs, with only the most qualified eventually being hired. College graduates who have experience dealing with the public should have the best chance of being hired. Job opportunities may be better with the faster growing regional and commuter, low-cost, and charter airlines. There also are job opportunities for professionally trained flight attendants to work for companies operating private aircraft for their executives.
Flight Attendants may be employed in the following industries: Hotels and Restaurants; Transport, Storage and Communication; and Real Estate, Renting and Business Activities.

๐Ÿ“Š Prospects for Career Advancement
Some Flight Attendants become supervisors, moving from senior or lead flight attendant, to check flight attendant, to flight attendant supervisor, then on to base manager, and finally to manager or vice president of in-flight operations. They may take on additional duties, such as recruiting, instructing, or developing in flight products. Their experience also may qualify them for numerous airline-related jobs involving transactions with the public, such as reservation ticket agent or public relations specialist. Flight attendants who do not want to travel often for various reasons may move to a position as an administrative assistant. With additional education, some Flight Attendants may decide to transfer to other areas of the airline for which they work, such as risk management or human resources.

ATTENTION TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL/COLLEGE STUDENTS. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿป‍๐ŸŽ“Please Read Everything๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป‍๐ŸŽ“

It's not gonna be easy for you once you finish your studies. Someday you will realize once you experience applying in most airline jobs you will be needing more in finding regular jobs instead to earn money for your future.

Because a cabin crew job is not meant for everyone and that's the truth.

There is no backer even if you took the course tourism which is closer to aviation industry or even if you took a flight attendant school still not everyone who spends a lot of money in any schools will get the job of a flight attendant.

Not all former flight attendants or cabin crews gets back to that job because only 5% out of 100% gets lucky.

Only few are chosen out of hundreds or a thousand applicants applying gets the job of a cabin crew or a flight attendant.

Its not really about what course you need to take... it doesn't matter at all because Philippine Airlines and PAL Express accepts ANY COURSE as long as you are a College Graduate while Airasia and Cebu Pacific are now accepting at least HIGH SCHOOL Graduates but not (SHS) Senior High School.

You still need to graduate High School and that is the requirement for Airasia and Cebu Pacific.

Airlines are very strict, the recruiters will test your knowledge from the way you speak. Even if your beautiful and you have the height it still depends if they will pass you are not.

A lot of applicants failed the first stage which is introduce yourself. Because most recruiters will check even your gestures and posture so its really not going to be easy to many of us here. I've seen a lot of interviews already and I have noticed that they are very strict on everything.

I strongly suggest for you guys to focus on your studies and do not rush.

WE ALL KNOW THAT NOT EVERYBODY WILL HAVE THE CHANCE FOR THIS DREAM JOB. NOT ALL 32K IN THIS GROUP WILL BECOME FA BUT WE NEED TO BE OPEN MINDED SA MGA BAGAY TULAD NG MASASAYANG ANG PANAHON IF WE ALL FOCUS ON ONE GOAL JUST IN CASE HINDI MATUPAD ANG PANGARAP NATIN DAPAT MAY FALL BACK KAYO SA FUTURE. GETTING A COLLEGE DEGREE OF ANY COURSE WILL GET YOU SOMEWHERE.

WAG KAYO TITIGIL SA PAG AARAL DAHIL SA PANGARAP NIYO KAHIT NA MAY IBANG AIRLINES NAG AACCEPT NG HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES. NAPAKA IMPORTANTE YUNG MAY MATAPOS KA.

I'M NOT SAYING MAG STOP KAYO SA DREAM NIYO AND I'M NOT DUSCOURAGING EVERYONE DAHIL ANG TOTOO MAS MADAMING ASPIRANTS NARE-REJECT KESA SA MGA NATUPAD NA ANG MGA PANGARAP.

YES WE SEE INSPIRING STORIES SHARED BY FLIGHT ATTENDANTS IN THIS GROUP BUT YOU HAVE TO KNOW THAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE A LOT OF REJECTIONS FROM INTERVIEWS TO MEDICAL AND TRAINING MAY BUMABAGSAK DIN SA TRAINING AT HINDI NATUTULOY SA PANGARAP.

EVERYONE WILL EXPERIENCE FAILURES BIBIHIRA YUNG ILANG REJECTIONS TAPOS CABIN CREW NA MAS MADAMI YUNG NAKAKARANAS NG MALAPIT NA PERO HINDI NAKUKUHA YUNG PANGARAP.

PAG DUMATING SA PANAHON THAT YOU HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR SO MANY YEARS AT WALA PA RIN PARA HINDI MASAYANG PANAHON NIYO TRY TO BE OPEN MINDED IN APPLYING OTHER JOBS AND ESPECIALLY FINISHING YOUR STUDIES PARA SA MGA KABATAAN WAG KAYO MAGMAMADALI.

NASA DIYOS PA RIN KUNG IBIBIGAY PARA SAYO ANG PANGARAP MO O IBA ANG IBIBIGAY SAYO NG PANGINOON MUCH BETTER SA PANGARAP MO.
