๐Ÿค” What you need to know before you plan to apply for flight attendant or cabin crew in the Philippines ✈๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ๐ŸŒ

NO AGE LIMIT FOR FILIPINO FLIGHT ATTENDANT OR CABIN CREW APPLICANTS IN THE PHILIPPINES 2019
๐Ÿ‘‰ This are based from the experience of other applicants and me (I am not yet a cabin crew).

⭐ When you apply for cabin crew most local airlines here in the Philippines like Philippine Airlines (for international) main office is at PNB Macapagal Pasay, Philippine Airlines (PAL Express) (for domestic) main office is at PAL Gate 1 Terminal 3 Pasay city, Cebu Pacific Air and AirAsia their main office is at Domestic Terminal 4 Pasay city. They will check first your how you will introduce yourself and check your arms only when you are in the initial interview.

⭐ There is is no height and weight check yet you just need to pass first the first stage which is introduce yourself and checking your arms.

⭐ They usually require the applicants to remove the blazer in PAL and PALEX then in Cebu Pacific they require to remove shoes and stand behind the height chart before you introduce yourself.

⭐ You will know right away after the physical screening which is the initial interview if you Passed or Failed.

⭐ It really seems to be so easy to just introduce yourself since your just gonna state your name, age, location, education or just describe yourself in one word then show arms and you will turn left and right but even if you will only tell that you still wouldn't know if they will choose you or not. The sad part is they won't tell you the reasons why you are not qualified and you will be adviced to re-apply after 6 months. That is why this airlines in the Philippines have the highest standards.

⭐ Regarding with physical screening the airline companies will only check first your skin in your face if you have pimples/acne/large or many moles and your arms if you have huge scars or visible tattoos and your teeth when you smile during the interview. Because the eye vision, scoliosis, and other concerns will be during medical check up already.

๐Ÿ‘‰ For teeth: the airline companies are not really strict when it comes to your teeth not unless if it really looks bad like you lost all your teeth or if you have black teeth then you need to go to the dentist to fix your teeth. It is not really a major problem for those who are asking what if the teeth is like this and like that for as long it looks okay there is nothing to worry about.

๐Ÿ‘‰ All airlines are very strict when it comes to eye vision and scoliosis. I have spoke to some of the aspirants who already passed the initial and final interview but they failed during the medical because of this. Some were sent home after medical and can no longer continue to their training. Make sure to have a check up first when you prepare before planning to apply.

⭐ Then for some aspiring cabin crews who are asking about education requirements and which airlines doesn't require height... well I have been sharing the answers many times already. For those who are in High School and College right now focus first in finishing your studies since ANY COURSE IS ACCEPTABLE.

⭐ It is your choice if you want to take or enroll to a flight attendant school. It will help you boost your confidence through personality development and learn what its like to be like a cabin crew but there is no guarantee or any assurance after taking or enrolling to an FA school that you will land a job right away for cabin crew.

⭐ There are other aspirants who have a difficult time trying to get a flight attendant/cabin crew job even if they have already took a flight attendant school. Some aspirants shared to me after they finished attending to a flight attendant school the recommendation was their resume was sent to one of the airline company to be scheduled for initial interview. However none of them were chosen.

⭐ Although there are other lucky aspirants who become a cabin crew right after attending a seminar or enrolling to an FA school but not everyone who took FA school can get in to that job as a flight attendant/cabin crew.

⭐ According to the In-Flight manager from PALEX when I attended a mentorship class he explained to us that you don't need to go to an FA school to become a cabin crew even if you show your FA certificate because what the airlines are looking for if you have the personality and skills of a flight attendant when they observe you even if it is just introducing yourself to them.

⭐ There are cabin crews/flight attendants who did not take FA school and graduated in a different course in College.

I'm not saying it is not okay to take FA school it is your choice if you want to take if you have the budget then go for it.
THERE IS NO COURSE FOR FLIGHT ATTENDANT

⭐ For PAL and PAL Express at least 4 years College graduate of any course, for Cebu Pacific and Airasia at least 2 years College level of any course, for Qatar Airways, Saudia Airlines and Oman Air at least a High School graduate.

๐Ÿ‘‰ For height requirements only in PAL, PALEX, Cebu Pacific, Airasia and Oman Air requires minimum for height. While for Saudia, Qatar, Saudgulf and Emirates CSA requires arm reach of 212cm or 210cm in tip toes.

⭐ This are the only airlines available in the Philippines.

⭐ Vietjet first time hired Filipinos last year but we are not sure if they will be hiring again.

⭐ NO AGE LIMIT in most airlines except Oman air and Vietjet.

⭐ Charted private planes like Skyjet, Airswift, Pan Pacific and Royal air only hire once a year.

The active airline hiring now is Royal air.

⭐ While for Emirates FA, Etihad, Cathay, Gulf air, Delta, United Airlines and etc. there is no agency here in the Philippines for this airlines if you passed the online application you will be adviced to visit their country for interview with your own expense.

⭐ Other choices you can apply for ticketing or ground attendant CSA position or travel agency or lounge attendant or tour guide or cruiseship if you still want to continue your career to be related to the aviation/airline or just experience the travel if you can't reach your dream yet to become a flight attendant.

⭐ Or try to gain first work experience to other jobs like in a hotel or call center agent or office staff and etc. It doesn't really have to be related to airlines. Because it is difficult to push yourself to airline jobs if you tried to many times and you still can't land a job there. It is much better to have other plans so you could be able to earn money while waiting and preparing for the right time if you want to go back in applying to the airline jobs.

⭐ A ground attendant CSA and airline ticketing jobs also do have trainings too like flight attendant and if you failed during the training period you will go back in finding another job.

๐Ÿ‘‰ My suggestion to all aspirants: Do not limit yourself finding a cabin crew or flight attendant jobs only in the Philippines.

⭐ For some who did tried and tried too many times already applying for cabin crew you can try to apply abroad. Some aspirants went to other countries to apply and they are now a cabin crew. You can be able to save up for your future plans if you try to work first in any job.

⭐ So for those who are young and still dreams to become a flight attendant always start your plan now. And to those who are in High School and College finish first your studies because not everyone would get this job right away especially if you haven't finished your studies.

⭐ And for those who are asking how to apply try to research online. Go to jobstreet.com or workabroad.ph or indeed.com

⭐ Same goes with who are about to take OJT research online. Much better if you walk in through the airports to pass your resume also with applicants who are planning to apply for ground attendant CSA you can walk in at NAIA Terminal 1-4 airports in Paranaque to Pasay area.

⭐ I hope I have answered all your questions. No need to send a message to this page I don't reply and please do not send your resume here because I am not a job recruiter I am also an applicant like you.

(This article is applicable for Filipino applicants only who are residing here in the Philippines).
