✅ That's why they check your height and weight because over weight or under weight and short in height is not allowed. ❎

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ However if you will apply in other country like in the US, there is NO weight discrimination. They accept any body shape or size no matter how chubby or over weight.

 The reason why airlines required for tall and not too skinny or not too chubby Flight Steward and Stewardess is because:

"A Cabin Crew must be able to reach the over head bin or over head compartment to close all of it after the passengers put their bags before Take-off and to reach the emergecy equipment"

๐Ÿ˜ Most ASPIRANTS say this:

"Pag mag a-apply ka para kang nag a-audition sa Pinoy Big Brother dahil artistahin or model ang hanap nila"

YES! EXACTLY!

You are the one applying for the company so if you do not like their requirements then DON'T APPLY. Because the airline company is not going to adjust for you if you keep complaining how high their standard is.

Also the reason why you need to have your weight proprtioned to your height is because you need to be healthy that's why during training they always check your weight if you are following their weight target chart based on your height (Ladies: should be minimum of 5'3" / 160cm and above while for the Gentlemen: the minimum height required is 5'6" / 167cm for PAL or Philippine Airlines and PAL Express then for airasia and Cebu Pacific Air minimum height is 5'7" and above).

AIRLINE REQUIREMENTS  ARE VERY STRICT. YOU NEED TO MAINTAIN YOUR WEIGHT EVEN IF YOU ARE HIRED.

Only Pursers or Senior FA's are allowed to gain weight. (Like above 40 or 50 years old who are working for 20 to 30 years - To those who asked "Why there are FA's who gain weight?")
