First Transgender Flight Attendants Take Flight in The Philippines ✈๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

๐Ÿณ️‍๐ŸŒˆ Two transgender crew have just made history in the Philippines after they completed their cabin crew training with Cebu Pacific's Cebgo and became the first transwomen to earn their wings in Asia's only conservative Roman Catholic-majority country.

Jess Labares (left) and Mikee Vitug (right) took to Facebook today to express their joy on making their dreams come true and thanked the airline for embracing diversity.

"I will forever cherish this opportunity given by Cebu Pacific. I'd like to extend my deepest gratitude to Cebgo and Cebu Pacific for their acceptance," Labares said on her Facebook page. "On behalf of the LGBTQ community, thank you. It is another milestone in the country that shows that Cebu Pacific is a diverse and multicultural company. This wouldn't be possible not because of the pillars, bosses, and supervisors of the company."
Vitug encouraged those in similar situations to not hold back on chasing their dreams.

"To those people who are afraid of going out of their comfort zone, to those people who want to make a change but keep on holding themselves back because of prejudice, judgment, and discrimination, just listen to your heart and make it happen because nothing is impossible," she also said via Facebook.

The two new flight attendants will be flying for Cebgo, a regional subsidiary of Cebu Pacific, The Philippines' largest airline based on the number of passengers flown on domestic and international routes.
