✈๐ŸŒ Becoming a flight attendant is a childhood dream for many. Pursuing this kind of job requires you to travel to different places all over the world. A flight attendant’s primary job is to ensure the safety and comfort of airline passengers. These professionals are basically the safety officers during a flight. They are also the ones who verify the tickets, explain the use of safety equipment, and serve food and drinks to passengers.

๐Ÿค” What are the qualifications to become a flight attendant?

๐Ÿ“ŒMinimum of 18 years old. NO AGE LIMIT
๐Ÿ“ŒHas completed at least 4 years in college of ANY COURSE!
๐Ÿ“ŒHas excellent communication skills in English and Filipino.

Step 1: Search and apply for job openings in airline companies.

Step 2: Ace the job interview.

Maria Cristina Olarte, a flight stewardess of Saudi Arabian Airlines shared that the best way to ace your job interview is to keep it natural. She added that it would help if you research about the history and background of the airline company to show your genuine interest. Step 3: Take the psychological exam

After the physical assessment, qualified applicants are required to take the psychological exam to demonstrate their emotional and mental preparedness. With a job that ensures the safety of flight passengers, it’s necessary that you know how to work under pressure, especially during emergency situations!



Step 4: Attend the orientation and training

There will be regular trainings for qualified flight attendants. The training usually consists of customer service, pre-flight procedures, boarding, in-flight service, safety and security procedures, and first aid to fully prepare a flight attendant for the job. Once you’ve successfully completed the pre-employment procedures, you’re on your way to becoming a full-fledged flight attendant!
