🌏 How to start preparing yourself before you apply to your dream job as a Flight Attendant/Cabin Crew ✈ in the Philippines

🚩Here's what you need to know

👉 You need to always check first your weight if it is proportioned to your height. 

📌 You need to discipline yourself by maintining yourself in good shape and limit by not eating too much everyday. 

📌 Start doing some exercise when you wake up in the morning. (Walking, Jogging & Stretching)

⛧ Since in Qatar Airways, Saudia Airlines, Saudigulf and Emirates Cabin Service Assistant you need to do the arm reach test make sure you practice stretching your arms at home. Try to reach the top of your door left or right arm one at a time in tip toes it actually helps.

⛧ Only Qatar, Saudia, Saudigulf and EK CSA do not have height requitements as long as you can reach 212cm in tip toes. (agency in IPAMS) 

🌹Females only for most Middle East Airlines agencies in the Philippines.  

⛧ Other airlines have height requirements: Oman Air (STB-DJL & Meja agencies), PAL, PALEX, Cebpac and Airasia

❌ Do not eat too much sweets and junkfoods. Avoid all the fatty oily foods too. Drink lots of water everyday. 🍍🍎🍉 Just more Fruits & Vegetables.

⛤ Because you want to be a Flight Attendant you need to follow this steps everyday. 

✨ I have a friend who applied at Cebu Pacific, and Airasia he did not pass the initial screening because he is not prepared when he applied. Even if its just introducing yourself a lot of applicants failed because the first impression to the interviewers are very important. 

✨ But when he start to follow the diet tips and lost 9 pounds after that he sent his resume through email at main PAL. Because Philippine Airlines is his favorite airline he came prepared. Even if its just simple of introducing yourself he passed the interview since he showed he is in good shape with his new business attire that suits him and just a simple of sharing his hobbies to the recruiters with confidence made him passed. 

✨ He is an engineer and at 30 years old without any airline job experience and without taking a Flight Attendant training school. And now he is about to take his training at Philippine Airlines.

(These are the airlines which had age limit before but now it was removed. Thanks to our president Duterte who signed the Anti-Age Discrimination contact. PAL, PALEX, Cebu Pacific and Airasia do not have age limit anymore).

⛧ The recruiters will not base or look what's inside your resume. What they really care about is their first impression about you from the moment you step inside the room how you wear your suit from head to toe they will look at you and how you start communicating with them.

EVEN IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE AT ALL WHETHER YOUR A FRESH GRADUATE OF ANY COURSE OR YOU HAVE NO AIRLINE JOB EXPERIENCE. ALWAYS REMEMBER THE FIRST IMPRESSION IS IMPORTANT TO THEM. 😊

📌 Make sure you will buy the correct size of your suit/blazer, polo shirt, skirt must be above the knee pencil cut and back shoes must be simple without designs.

👉 For Male and Female: Do not wear tight/lose polo shirts. Make sure its the right size. Also the length of the skirt for females make sure its not too short or too long. While for the male applicants make sure its the right length of the pants not too short when you sit down.

RECRUITERS WILL CHECK ALL OF THAT 

👉 For females: Always check your make up. Try to search on youtube and watch videos of makeup tutorials. Practice how to groom yourself. 

THE RECRUITERS WILK CHECK HOW NEAT YOU ARE STARTING FROM YOUR HAIR AND MAKEUP.

⛧ Yes its true! All airlines set the highest standard before choosing who are the best among all of thousands of applicants applying every open days or hundreds of applicants every regular walk in days.

⛧ Not everyone will be given a chance to be a cabin crew because they will choose only who came very prepared starting from how you dress yourself and how you communicate to them. 

⛧ Always make an eye contact, greet everybody even the security guards ir janitors greet them because you wouldn't know they are already observing you.

⛧ A flight attendant always have their smile on their faces and greets everyone all the time. 

👉 Always take care if your skin to avoid having pimples. Wash your face every morning and at night. Do not stay up all night checking on facebook. Sleep early.

👉 Always DO A RESEARCH before you apply to the airline company. At least you can answer about the airline company you are applying for. Just a little history background of the airline will do and it will be a huge impact to them if you know something about their company.

👉 Always make sure you are physically, emotionally and you are mentally prepared for all of this. 

⛤ Some airlines are very strict in medical especially if your color blind or if you have scoliosis it really depends. 

⛤ Try to practice also how to answer IQ Tests online there are so many websites you can try to test yourself how to answer the IQ Tests.

⛤ For Group Dynamics you will be given any situation or senario how to handle or what would you do if you are already a cabin crew. And give chance to others on answering because no one is a leader to the group. 

⛤ So for you to stand out among the rest of the applicants starting from now try to practice at home and follow all of this steps. 

👉 For Highschool students try to focus first on your studies no need to rush yourself applying to your dream job because ANY COURSE IS ACCEPTABLE WHEN YOU APPLY FOR CABIN CREW.

Although there are Airlines available in the Philippines that accept Highschool graduates:

📍Saudigulf Airlines

The rest they are strictly accepting 2 years College level or A College Graduate like:

📍Airasia (2 years in College)

📍Cebu Pacific (2 years in College)

📍Philippine Airlines (4 years in College)

📍PAL Express (4 years in College)

📌ANY COURSE IS ACCEPTABLE

⛤ Flight Attendant school is just optional if you want to enhance your personal development and practice what its like to be a cabin crew.
